9:15 - 10:15 AM – “Show Me What You Got, Db2!” (my favorite Db2 for z/OS -DISPLAY commands)
Abstract: Various Db2 for z/OS monitoring and management tools are of great value in gaining insight into the operations of a Db2 system, but Db2 itself can also provide very useful and actionable information via a variety of commands that start with one word: DISPLAY. In this session, I’ll explain how I utilize the output of various of my favorite Db2 commands of this nature, including -DISPLAY BUFFERPOOL, -DISPLAY GROUPBUFFERPOOL, -DISPLAY DDF, -DISPLAY GROUP and -DISPLAY LOCATION.
