Michael Woo is an IBM Program Director and the senior manager for Db2 for z/OS Worldwide Technical Support. A graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in electrical engineering, Michael has been with IBM for over thirty years -- starting his career in the Dallas / Fort Worth area as a programmer working on mail and calendar application software before eventually relocating to the San Francisco Bay area to work on database and database-related software. Since joining the Db2 for z/OS organization in 2005, he has held a number of management positions in technical support, development, and performance, before assuming his current role leading the global support team.
